After the items have been purchased for Self Checkin you will need to download the App from the App Store.

You will require an iTunes Account. This can be a new one just for this purpose or you can use an existing account.

Udio Set up

You will need to configure the Self Checkin within the Settings of Udio. Go to Settings:

  •      If you are using QR Codes in Customer Accounts, go to Configure facilities and select the facility and ‘Edit Facility’ – tick ‘Allow self checkin with QR codes – confirm to update
  •      Self Check In
    •   Terminals
      •   Add New Terminal
      •   Terminal Location – reception, wall, floor mounted
      •   Ensure it is active
      •   Click Confirm

iPad

This will need to be completed on each device.

Set up the iPad with the iTunes account. Ensure the devices have the latest version of ios.

Go to the App Store from the Device and search on ‘Udio Systems’, download the app that is called Check-in Kiosk and has the Udio logo.

Go to the App that has been downloaded and tap on it.

Enter the email address and password of any staff member that can log into Udio as this is a once off login.

Select the Terminal from the list and confirm Selection.

You should now have the yellow scan screen and a box with the image from the front facing camera.
