The merchant would always use the latest DDR for that specific account in the case of a dispute where they needed to show a DDR form.

Scenario 1

1. Jan 1 2021: Customer completes DDR for account 123456
2. Jan – Dec 2021: Merchant debits account 123456
3. 31 Dec 2021: Customer updates bank details with merchant and completes DDR for account 456789
4. Jan 2022 ->: merchant debits account 456789
5. Feb 2022: merchant receives dispute for transaction in Jan 2022, for debit against account 456789
6. Merchant provides DDR for account 456789 to MW to resolve the dispute
