Welcome to the Udio Community December Update

2020 is coming to an end, and what a year it's been!  It has been a challenging year for most of us.  We are so pleased that all of our Udio Community Businesses are back open.  Congratulations to you all for making it through the storm that was 2020!

Here at the Udio office, 2020 was our busiest year, with many new businesses joining the Udio Community along with releasing many updates.  

2021 is already shaping up to be an exciting year with our Developers already working on many of your suggested improvements and planned updates.

Today we are pleased to announce the following Product Improvements;

Restricting a Sessions to a specific Billing Group

You can now add a Billing Group to a Session and this will only be displayed to people within the Group.

When you either create a session or edit a session you can add a Billing Group.

Waiting List

You can now click on the Person’s name in the Waiting List. You can also download the list which includes the contact details.

Allow only one booking via the Customer Portal

To prevent a customer from booking a second lesson (and being charged twice), rather than "moving" their existing booking.   We have created a setting that permits a customer to move the booking only.  If they want to book a second lesson they will need to contact you.

Time Marker for cancelling a lesson in the Portal

You can now add a time limit to Udio so your customers have to cancel a lesson before the cut off period to receive a make up. As always you can cancel a lesson at anytime.

Emails

For the past 3 months we have been working on updating the Email platform to give you more control on what types of emails can be sent automatically.
 
The new version of Emails will be completed during January and will be available in Sandbox for a period of time.
 
Information and instructions will be sent once in Sandbox.

Christmas Break

The Udio offices will be closed from 12pm Friday 18th December and reopening on Monday 4th January.
 
The Udio phone of 0404 414 646 will be available for all urgent issues.

Help Centre

Needing to search for information quickly but don't have time to read through different manuals? Don't worry, we have you covered.

We have launched the new Udio Help Centre located under Settings on the left hand side. This is a repository for all manuals and help information as well as a housing for all updates and new release notes. 

The search function will allow you to search for all relevant information about a particular topic. For example if you search 'Add Family' all relevant manuals/articles will appear. Why not give it a go?
